BIO
With over 20 years of experience in the landscape industry, Dominick Meloche has acquired a unique skillset within the field. His work has brought him across Canada, where he has designed and built various large-scale commercial and residential landscaping projets. Combining invaluable experience with landscape artistry, Dominick is well positioned to support his clients through all phases of their project.
With superior competencies in everything from planning and design work to machine operating, horticulture, outdoor lighting and irrigation, pond work and much more, he caters to each client's individual project needs. Relying on the knowledge and experience gained over hundreds of successful projects, as well as his eye for efficient use of space and unique vision, Dominick is able to apply his clients needs and wishes to realise a fully functional and aesthetically beautiful space, often surpassing clients' expectations.
Focusing mainly on landscape design and space planning, Dominick's projects reach from Western Quebec to Eastern Ontario and British Columbia. As a full time landscape designer in the Gatineau Hills & National Capital Region since 2010, Dominick has worked on a multitude of residential and commercial projects. Several recognisable projects include the Wakefield Waterfront Project , Nordik Spa in Chelsea, Oakwood Home Renovations's LEED Platinum headquarters in Ottawa, the Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa, the Sportheque in Hull, as well as Junic Club Central in Gatineau, the Bleu Spa in Cantley (now Amerispa), and the Belvedere in Wakefield.
Familiar in bylaws and environmental requirements, Dominick can guide residental clients through difficult projects with ease. He particularily enjoys working on waterfront properties or projects with challenging topography or other special elements requiring creative design solutions and expertise. Pools, spas, saunas and outdoor kitchens are also sources of inspiration.
